My Day on an Experiential Learning Trip
9:00 A.M.
Guided Tour
Group to enjoy a tour with a guide in traditional colonial garb. Students are fully immersed in 18th century Virginia’s colonial capital city. The visit includes the various exhibits, shops, homes, as well as the Governor's Mansion.


1:30 P.M.
Free Time
Our travelers do some exploring of their own. Whether it be watching one of the many pop-up performances by the reenactors, experiencing and learning about the historic trades, or picking up some goodies at the various historic shops.
2:15 P.M.
Carriage Rides
It’s now time to take a scenic carriage ride through the streets of Colonial Williamsburg and feel the streets of old.


4:30 P.M.
Fife & drum march
This annual tradition takes place in the market square for students to observe the hustle and bustle of a colonial settlement and the training of the Virginia militia.
10:00 P.M.
Bedtime
Quiet time begins as students get ready for bedtime in their hotel rooms. Security watches over all student rooms overnight.
